Canon EOS 550D
The Rebel T2i Digital SLR camera includes a variety of new features for photographic assignments as varied as grabbing that action shot from the sidelines or creating memorable family portraits, including: 3.7 fps shooting, an ISO range of 100-6400 (expandable to 12,800), a 63-zone Dual Layer Metering System, and Canon's DIGIC 4 Imaging Processor. There are some moments in our lives where video helps capture the moment better than a still image, and the Rebel T2i offers the best of both... Read more »

Logitech G15 2nd-gen: Know of any useful G15 LCD plugins?
Anyone have any useful G15 LCD plugins they'd like to share? I just downloaded the Trillian G15 plugin from http://www.trillian-messenger.net/en/plugin/trillian_g15. The ability to facebook chat while playing team fortress 2 completely validated my purchase. I definitely recommend checking it out. Read more »
BenQ QCM-330: Ridiculous display!
So the thing I'm most intrigued about with this phone is its display. It's a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 1024. Holy awesome pixel density! I would *love* to see Android running on this and how smooth it would look. Read more »

Canon PowerShot S90: Using the S90 with Aperture
I have been using Aperture to manage my RAW files from my Nikon D80 for about a year now. I bought the S90 and realized that Aperture does not support its RAW files (but oddly enough it does support the G11). Has anyone ran into this problem? Have you found an elegant solution? How do you handle the barrel distortion? Read more »
Motorola DROID: More Home Screens!
My girlfriend is afraid of rooting her Droid and at this point I've learned not to push her. But I wanted to offer her an alternative the Droid's limited number of home screens. Would you guys mind listing some home screen replacement APPS (NOT roms) that offer more home screens (I tried a market search but many of the developers neglected to mention this feature before downloading). Which one is the best? Which one will help her minimize her Nexus One envy (yes, I heard about the... Read more »
Barnes & Noble nook: Should I wait... And what does the Nook come with?
I'm currently leaning toward the Nook over Amazon's Kindle, because I don't like the buttons on the front of the Kindle. But is this technology about to be superseded? Amazon just bought a touch screen company; e-ink is moving forward; many people think lcd tablets are good for reading. I don't want to buy this just before the price drops 50-100 dollars. I did that with the Wii. Also, what does this come with? Does it have some kind of cover, or do I have to buy... Read more »

Microsoft Xbox 360: Use a wired controller as a USB mic for PC
Any of you playing a lot of Games for Windows Live might already know about this but... If you are running Vista or Windows 7 you can plug a mic into a wired USB controller plugged into your PC and get a quick and easy USB mic. The headset comes up as an audio device and works well for Skype of Ventrillo. I always seem to have issues with regular 3.5mm headsets so this trick is real helpful. Cheers Read more »

The Super Nintendo Entertainment System or Super NES (also called SNES and Super Nintendo) is a 16-bit video game console that was released by Nintendo in North America, Europe, Australasia (Oceania), and South America between 1990 and 1993. In Japan and Southeast Asia, the system is called the Super Family Computer, Super Famicom, or SFC for short. Microsoft Windows Mobile 7.0: It makes me Sad, It makes me Mad. No multitasking, apps only via app store
Just saw the rumored specs of win7 leak via PPCGeeks. two very important points that no one really has discussed are 1."Windows Phone 7 will only support application installation through service based delivery. (i.e Marketplace). Application installation via storage card will not be possible." 2."No Multi-Task support. Applications will “Pause” when in the background, however will support notifications via push notifications." I think that its these kind of... Read more »
Amazon Kindle 2
The new Kindle 2 features a completely new design. At just over a third of an inch thin (0.36 inches) and weighing just over 10 ounces, Kindle 2 is pencil thin and lighter than a typical paperback. New buttons make it easy to turn the page from any holding position. The new 5-way controller on Kindle 2 allows for more precise note-taking and highlighting both up and down and side to side in lines of text. The new controller also makes it easy to quickly jump between articles and sections of... Read more »
HTC Google Nexus One: Unlocking the Nexus One...will it end around ERF fees?
I'm an existing T-mobile user and want the Nexus One but I'm having trouble getting a straight story. I've already gone to Google with these questions, but I know I could die of old age waiting for a response, so I thought I'd ask here. It appears that the original TOS for the Nexus One said that if you cancel or downgrade within 120 days that you were on the hook for the difference of the subsidized cost, $350. Now their TOS says that for existing customers the fee is only... Read more »
Linus Torvalds Loves His New Google Nexus One [Linus Torvalds]
Self-described cellphone cynic and "father of Linux" Linus Torvalds decided to get a Google Nexus One the other day. And while the customer service lines may be clogged over the phone's performance, Daddy Linux is positively pleased as punch. Unsurprisingly, the man who invented the most popular open source operating system in the world is a "happy camper" over the fact that this... Full story
