I'm still undecided which health gadget to get, and you know that with Christmas (food) and New Year's (as in "resolution to get healthy") around the corner, the choices are only getting harder. A year ago, I would have just thought that Fitbit was the answer. Low profile and detailed metrics is definitely the key to putting the thing on, but now that there are so many different products that have different features, it seems like an over saturated market, yet no single product has that magic...

I just discovered this while hanging out on gdgt and am loving the concept of it but can someone who actually owns it let me know how exactly it works? I know that you get it, connect it to your wi-fi, also there is an iPhone app for it, but for example every time I weigh myself will it automatically be added to the iPhone app? Also if someone else use the scale how will that be recorded? I also read that it can keep track of up to 8 users but how does t hat work? Any info will be nice and...
I'm really interested with the idea of this scale and making it easier to log my weight information. Does anyone have experience with the logging software, be it Google Health or the proprietary Withings software? Really want this device, but looking for some testimonials first (since it's such a niche device, they're hard to find). Thanks!
Does anyone have this? I've actually seen a few ads about it here on gdgt and I've actually been pretty intrigued. It sounds like a pretty fascinating device, and its integration with various services (Google Health and Daily Burn, among others) is huge draw as well. I've heard that this thing eats batteries for breakfast, lunch, and dinner though. Anyone have examples of real world battery life with this gadget?
The WiFi Body Scale automatically records the user’s body weight, lean & fat mass, and calculated body mass index (BMI) to his/her secure webpage and/or free Withings iPhone application, WiScale. The scale supports up to 8 users. Also, if enabled by each of the scale's users, the scale can automatically “Tweet” the information daily, weekly or monthly to their followers. The scale can upload information to third party sites like DailyBurn.com, RunKeeper, FitOrbit, Google Health and more.
