Conclusion: We like it

Simple, sleek, and with a better display than the Fitbit Aria, the Withings WiFi Body Scale keeps track of your weight, BMI, and body fat percentage by uploading your stats automatically via WiFi. Access your charts and graphs privately, and if you're really proud of your progress (or in need of some serious peer pressure to hit the gym) tweet your weight automatically. While it may be on the pricey side for those accustomed to cheap (and inaccurate) drug store scales, for what it does we actually think the Withings scale is a pretty good value. Still, for $30 less we prefer the Fitbit Aria.

The Wi-Fi Scale from Withings isn’t the only web-connected digital scale on the market, but for now, it’s the best we’ve stepped on.

A clever and interesting way to track your weight loss (or gain) regimen. May not be worth $159 but the free web service adds a great deal of value.

The bottom line: The $159 ultraflexible Withings Body Scale, once the pinnacle of home weight measurement, is losing its edge in the face of better competition.

Since I began really dieting and exercising Ive been looking for a easier way to track my weight, bmi and bf%. The Withings scale does all that plus the integration with RunKeeper made this a no brainer for me. It's been really good so far and hasn't had any issues with syncing with the Withings...

This scale has worked flawlessly since I bought it. It has a decent iOS app, but also integrates with other sites and health management suites. Your data isn't completely locked up within the Withings ecosystem, which is certainly a plus. I'd recommend this product, but compare it to the Fitbit...

I use the withings scale and the fitbit pedometer to get the data I need to lose weight. Both work transparently. I use loseit.com and dailyburn.com to capture the data and then add what I east. Dailyburn.com has an iPhone in-app program called FoodScanner that allows me to use my iPhone...

The best thing about this scale is that you can see your past measures online and in an iPhone / Android app. Also, it automatically sends the data to services like RunKeeper.

The Withings scale, as with the companion blood-pressure monitor, is well designed and ideally suited for purpose. Set up is extremely simple and, once connected to your home wifi, is reliable and works every time. I have been using the scale now for nearly six months and it has recorded daily...

Couple of additional things. Battery life - after a month it is down to 90%, so it should last about a year on one set. Ease of setup - It was cake to set up. I think my mom could have done it.
