overview

This 4K LCD TV boasts more than 8 million pixels (four times today's 1080p HDTV) and is capable of advanced brightness, color depth and image resolution. The 55-inch version, the D55QX1, expected to be available by the first quarter of 2013, is similar to the D56QX1, which has been available since 2008 for $50,000. While no price has been announced for the D55, Westinghouse says it will be more affordable.
