Western Digital’s newest addition to its growing lineup of media players, the WD TV Live, essentially picks up where its older sibling left off. With the newly added networking capabilities via a built-in Ethernet port or USB Wi-Fi adapter (sold separately), the WD TV Live has taken Western...

Great product. Many of the updates have temporarily bricked it, but that gets fixed by plugging out things in usb ports and restart it.

Supports my favorite file formats. The only downside it is not wireless nor wireless adapter friendly.

I picked this up a week ago and I am very pleased with this products quality, performance and design. Small and compact. Does what it claims to easily. The menu structure is clean yet modern and easy to navigate. The added implementation of PICASA would be a added bonus as I don't use...

Purchased the WD TV Live as way to easily watch the videos I have stored on a Western Digital External Hard Drive. I'm not using it on a network (don't have a wired connection near my TV). I would have loved to use it to stream videos from the internet and my network, but lack of WiFi...

I picked one of these up last week, and I love it. I don't have cable at my house anymore so I was looking for a way to watch stuff other than local channels in my bedroom. My main living room tv has a 360 running PlayOn Media Server on it so I can watch Netflix, Hulu, Local Files and...

Has played just about everything that I have thrown at it. The only issue I have had so far is that it stopped playing mpeg2 files. Couldn't work out whether it was the WD TV Live or my Stora that had the problem until I found a discussion on the WD TV Live Forum and it suggested to reboot...

WD TV Live is a great device that lets you take your media -Video, Music, and Pictures- from your computer you living room in a small form factor. I would have to say that the device is very easy to setup. The user interface is very easy to use and the WD TV Live is very easy to get on your home...

Good out of the box. Great when you load the WDLXTV firmware. Only issues are around the need to configure wifi because it doesn't come with any out of the box. My setup was more compicated because I hooked it up to an Airport Express thru ethernet.

The WD TV Live is fast, has low power usage, is very easy to use, and has flawlessly played every file I've thrown at it. The interface is simple and no fuss. Simple and easy to use. Software updates have been coming regularly, bringing new features and fixing bugs (although after 1 year...

Plays practically everything. Can be a little difficult to get it to connect to network shares at times. Has good internet integration but not as broad as some of the newer devices.
