there are problems with codecs, the menu is primitive and physical connection with tv via hdmi cable was lost several times

I own this product and am pretty happy with it. I recently moved to a new place and I seem to have lost the adapter during the shifting. I reside in India and I have no clue where to get a replacement adapter. I tried some online sites but none of them would ship to India. What are my options?

I have this player & an AppleTV upgraded with ATV Flash3.6.2. The WDTVHD is not as elegant as the Apple TV but the easy setup and the ability to swap drives straight out of the box makes this a attractive lower cost option. I would strongly recommend this to anyone.
