bought it for use on my pc (windows 7) but then ended up using it for 2 months on a mac mini with the 3rd party NTFS driver.
it's super fauxing slow, and I'm planning to return it to my pc once I get the data migrated to my DROBO which runs at FW800 speeds. hmm, maybe i'll get a drobo for my pc too, heh heh.
USB 3.0 for older devices
My primary computer is a Macbook Pro that I purchased first quarter of 09 and it doesn't have USB 3.0. Will we only get these huge speeds if we switch to a new computer that supports the 3.0 standard?
