This week, I got to check out Westinghouse's D55QX1, a 4K (that's 4x 1080p) LCD TV the company is showing off and hopes to release early next year. The set is basically a consumer version of the D56QX1, a $50,000, 56-inch version the company released a few years ago, and which has found a home in industrial applications like high-resolution data-visualization of seismic activity deep below oil fields.
