I will start this by saying I did not purchase these. I was given them by a V-Moda rep. That being said, there were no strings or anything. It was more of a "here we believe in them so go use them and let us know what you think" type thing. I have been using a set of White Crossfade LPs...

They seem to have a defect and a lot of people are reporting on it ... Where the headband is attached there are some overtightened screws it seems that end up cracking the casing. So far the cracking hasn't hurt the overall function of the headset ... but for the price, these should rocksolid.

These headphones are at best good. They look amazing, with its very unique design. As well, these headphones are extremely sturdy, because of the excellent materials used (Leather, metal and memory foam.) These come with an awesome hard shell carrying case, which makes these headphones portable...
