The V-Moda Crossfade LP headphones look good, feel durable, and offer plenty of desirable extras, but the clubby leaning to the sound space does not lend itself well to all genres of music. This set is best suited to DJs and dance music aficionados.

The V-Moda Crossfade LP headphones are dub-heavy and exceptionally comfortable. They're real lookers and are just the thing for dance and rock tracks with lots of bass. You may end up with a headache after prolonged use, but you probably won't want to stop using them. quote

If your tastes lean to the modern and thumping then the V-MODAs should definitely be on your auditioning list; classical aficionados should probably look elsewhere. Still, solid construction and brilliant audio quality make for an excellent set of over-the-ears.

Read the full review →The headphones are very comfortable and can be worn for long periods of time without giving you a headache. It would have been nice if the headphones were a little more portable, and the issues with the balancing of the bass and treble didn’t exist, as well as the concert hall effect of the music.

Read the full review →These headphones are aimed toward a higher-end market... But if you're specifically looking for a high-end performer that sounds great and fits comfortably to boot, then the V-MODA Crossfade is certainly worthy of consideration.

Read the full review →I really like the V-Moda peeps so not being able to rave about these makes me a bit bummed. I wear these at work and listen to whatever Pandora and last.fm throw at me. I primarily listen to electronic music, which in it's more advanced forms can be almost as demanding as classical music on...

Read the full review →2 other guys at work each got these and really liked them. I tried on a pair and didn't want to give them back. I previously had a set of beats solo headphones. They sounded good, but were not comfortable for long periods of time. The V-Moda Crossfade LP's sound just as good as the beats and...
Read the full review →I will start this by saying I did not purchase these. I was given them by a V-Moda rep. That being said, there were no strings or anything. It was more of a "here we believe in them so go use them and let us know what you think" type thing. I have been using a set of White Crossfade LPs...

Where the headband is attached there are some overtightened screws it seems that end up cracking the casing. So far the cracking hasn't hurt the overall function of the headset ... but for the price, these should rocksolid.
Read the full review →The v-moda crossfades were my first real pair of heavy-duty headphones, and man, were they fantastic . I love listening to hip-hop and electronic, which makes the bass-heavy sound heavenly to my ears. Unfortunately, the ear cushion was a bit narrow for my tastes, which made listening for more...
