I heard about these on Major Nelson's podcast (show #342). He interviewed someone from Tritton, and the AX Pros sounded like they were really good. I've seen reports and experienced when using Tritton Trigger headphones with wired Xbox 360 controllers, sound noise occurs, but with wireless controllers, they work just fine. Could it be an EMI issue with the extra power from USB? If that's the case, could it be solved with a ferrite bead clamp on the mic cable near the controller. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrite_bead
So guess what? I BOUGHT THEM. Now, I'm terribly regretting it. Can anyone help me out with them so I don't have to return them to Best Buy? My problems are that (1) the bass is just to 'effin heavy, it takes all the other sounds from MW2 and leaves me confused, (2) Everything is either too high pitched or low pitched, and (3) all the sound is dull and lifeless EXCEPT for the bass.
