Conclusion: We're mixed
Don't expect powerful multimedia performance from the Toshiba NB510. But the NB510's faster processor, better video output, HDMI port, good battery life, and decent display make it a reasonable choice among the limited number of new netbooks on the market. One thing it's missing, however, is USB 3.0, which should really be included on any new PC, regardless of price or size.

The Toshiba NB510-10D does all the netbook essentials and does them well. It’s not outstanding in any regard, but neither does it have any serious failings. If you can’t afford a more powerful ultraportable or a tablet with keyboard dock/base, it’s a solid choice, and our favourite so far.
