With a fast quad-core processor and bright AMOLED display, the Toshiba Excite 7.7 is one of the best small Android tablets currently available. It's also thin, light, boasts the latest version of Android (4.0), and includes a microSD slot for storage expansion. But it has a couple of minor annoyances, including limited output options (no HDMI), and a proprietary dock connector for charging.
