Why is Tivo's support diminishing for Series 2 devices?
As of late, it seems that Tivo has been rolling out tons of new features that only seem compatible with Series 3 devices......such as support for Netflix. Why should a service such as this be kept off Series 2 boxes? I've heard argument referring to the lack of specific codecs in Series 2 that would enable the function. That doesn't seem to hold up in my mind as it should only take a firmware update to solve this. I almost feel like Tivo is forcing me into giving up my old Series 2 DT...
