The Flux by SteelSeries is designed to be a lightweight, portable gaming headset that can be folded flat to fit into your bag. TechRadar says the folding design "not only [makes it] easier to toss it into a bag, it's more durable this way." With its detachable cable system you can quickly switch between your phone, tablet or computer. The Flux headset has ear cushions covered in a mesh-cloth material that TechRadar felt made the Flux "a very comfortable headset." However, GadgetMac felt "the ear-cups become like ear-muffs, making them hard to use for an extended period of time." When it comes to sound quality OverClock3D called the Flux "the loudest and best sounding headphones we've ever tested". Cult of Mac calls the performance "high-end, with deep bass, full mids, and highs that don't get brittle." If you need a headset to game on the go, the SteelSeries Flux should be near the top of your list, with their good sound, portable folding design, comfort and an affordable price for the performance they provide. And if you don't like the standard black and white color choices, SteelSeries gives you the option to customize them however you want.
