Detailed review
Xperia S came with Android Gingerbread out of the box. It made me a little apprehensive due to the fact that competitors were out with Ice Cream Sandwich already. The S was not really native to Gingerbread. However, after the ICS update and the latest Sony update to .45, the Xperia s proved itself quite an excellent find.

The physical aspects of the phone which include its dry and semi-rugged brick form is compensated by the thin transparent strip which perfectly combines a sort of retro yet modern look, which almost at all times, becomes Xperia S's focal point.

Performance wise, the update to Ice Cream Sandwich makes Xperia S one of the formidable players in the market today. The dual core processors allows the Xperia S to compete with even quad core phones (to which I find unfair), and makes a name for itself.

As experienced, the S satisfies my communication needs and most importantly satisfies my WOW factor. It's not as flashy as the S3 nor as loud as the One X, but the S's subtlety and composure makes me say, the price is all worth it.
