Detailed review
ediThe VAIO X is a spectular (and spectacularly expensive) ultralight notebook. The shell design is magnificent and it is so thin, it is easy to miss side-on. For people who want a gorgeous, weightless, long-lived-battery portable this is it.
It works just fine with Win 7 Pro and the connectivity, including on-board 3G/HSDPA is also great. No optical drive turns out not to be too much of a pr oblem these day.
128GB of flash memory (no hard disk) explains silent and cool running as well as the price.
After 9 months of daily use I still love this. While I have succumbed and bought an iPad, the Vaio X is a real computer while the Pad is a toy.
