The VAIO X is a spectular (and spectacularly expensive) ultralight notebook. The shell design is magnificent and it is so thin, it is easy to miss side-on. For people who want a gorgeous, weightless, long-lived-battery portable this is it. I love it already after 2 weeks. It works just fine with Win 7 Pro and the connectivity, including on-board 3G/HSDPA is also great. No optical drive is a bit of a bummer but what can one expect from 780 grams including the battery. 128GB of flash memory (no hard disk) explains silent and cool running as well as the price.
