Anyone else who has this product, or possibly other Android tablet have an issue with their Home not responding properly because of a widget? It seems mine was giving me an issue since a recent update with one of the apps. I've removed all of the apps that I have home screen widgets (Facebook, Twitter, Google reader and plus, and Pandora) and reinstalled them one by one and found that my Google+ is the one that's causing it.
I've been researching this tablet heavily recently. But as technology is, everything is outdated by the time it hits store shelves. Does anyone have any idea whether Sony will be releasing a sequel to this with the same brilliant form factor and higher specs? I didn't want to buy one unless Sony will not be releasing an updated version and will support this beyond their Ice Creams Sandwich update that's coming out soon. Especially because for my purposes I would be investing in a couple docks...
Anybody else have this issue? On the back side, at the bottom of the black plastic (right above the silver) If i tap my fingers all across that "seam" I get a clicking sound and movement as if its not glued down? [I would prefer an Android-based tablet since I'm already familiar with that platform.]

As much as I would love to have a tablet, I think they are overpriced. I don't know much about the Kindle Fire, but it doesn't really seem to spark my interest, even at the price point. I am much more interested in the Sony tablet and the iPad 3, but curious if the PS Vita is actually the better play because of its raw power. I don't want the iPad 2 because Apple will simply release another one in March/April next year, not reduce the price on the current model more than $100 and the next...

I'm looking for a portable slate (less than 10", preferably around 7-8") that is fast enough to playback 1080p mkv videos. Are any of the current Tegra 2 Honeycomb tablets capable of doing that? Codec support is also important (mkv, H.264, AAC, AC3). Any ideas?
