Anyone else who has this product, or possibly other Android tablet have an issue with their Home not responding properly because of a widget?
It seems mine was giving me an issue since a recent update with one of the apps. I've removed all of the apps that I have home screen widgets (Facebook, Twitter, Google reader and plus, and Pandora) and reinstalled them one by one and found that my Google+ is the one that's causing it.
I've been researching this tablet heavily recently. But as technology is, everything is outdated by the time it hits store shelves. Does anyone have any idea whether Sony will be releasing a sequel to this with the same brilliant form factor and higher specs?
I didn't want to buy one unless Sony will not be releasing an updated version and will support this beyond their Ice Creams Sandwich update that's coming out soon. Especially because for my purposes I would be investing in a couple docks...
Anybody else have this issue? On the back side, at the bottom of the black plastic (right above the silver) If i tap my fingers all across that "seam" I get a clicking sound and movement as if its not glued down? I called Sony and they told me it should not be like that. Has anybody else noticed this?
[I would prefer an Android-based tablet since I'm already familiar with that platform.]
By "best tablet" I mean, which is the most reliable and intuitive device for running PowerPoint? What about connecting the tablet to a projector? Do they all have mini HDMI? Of course I wouldn't be designing the presentations on the tablet, simply running them.
Thoughts? Any help is appreciated!
I'm looking for a portable slate (less than 10", preferably around 7-8") that is fast enough to playback 1080p mkv videos. Are any of the current Tegra 2 Honeycomb tablets capable of doing that? Codec support is also important (mkv, H.264, AAC, AC3). Any ideas?
