Latest firmware fixed MKV issue
I got this box for cheap (50 euros on the Sony Store) because I thought I'd fiddle around with it a bit.
Even though it streamed everything quite well, and Sony put an interesting selection of VOD content, I was a bit disappointed by so-so MKV support.
I turned it back on again the other day and it asked me to download a new firmware.
Well I'm happy to report that it now plays any MKV I throw at it. I haven't tried on WiFi but on a wired ethernet connection it "thinks" for about 30s before loading...
