My previous reader was a PRS-500. The bigger screen, 16 grayscale display, touchscreen and wireless make this a quantum leap over my previous unit. After playing with this unit at the store I went and tried the Kindle. While the Kindle is nice, the lack of a touchscreen made it a dealbreaker....
