The PRS-650 was a nifty buy when it was the only E-Ink Pearl e-reader using a ZForce touch display. Now that, among others, the Nook Touch is out, offering the same basic functionality as the PRS-650, but at a much lower price, it's hard to recommend. Its handling of PDFs is disappointing,...

I have been happy with this reader for the most part. However lately I have had problems with the screens contrast. Not great for looking at pictures, but renders text well and can play mp3 files stored on the units hard drive or sd/magicstick card slot. Not having built in wifi might bother...
