I want to get a PRS-600 but the local Sony Distributor has yet to offer *any* Reader product locally. BTW, I live in the Philippines. Apart from ordering online and having it sent to my place, are there any options for me or do I just continue mooning over this product? :(

I wondered down to the Sony Style store today and took a look at the new readers. They had both on display. When you look at both of them side by side you can clearly see the superiority of the 300's display to it's larger and touchscreen brother. It is much brighter and crisper then the 600. Hi, I'm wondering how useful this device will be for general note taking... the e-ink industry is missing a trick here by focussing on eBooks when they could be the killer-app for replacing paper note books. Could I send a PDF to the device and make notes on it? Could I write notes without having to write them within an eBook? Does the stylus-on-screen feel like pen-on-paper? I have heard rumbling rumors of Verizon perhaps providing service for this device. Seems like if this e-book reader gets wireless downloading of content, it could really be great. The price point is getting much closer to where I would like it to be, and with touch screen, and lower e-book prices, a wireless connection just may be the thing to put it over the edge for me to buy. Anyone hearing other rumors of this thing getting wireless connectivity?
