The Book Thief (actual not literary)
details
I aim to buy an ebook reader sometime soon but given I'll be using it to replace the stack of books I tend to fill my suitcase up with on holidays, I was wondering if anyone had any tips on keeping it safe while alternating between the sun-lounger and surf? I've never seen anything like a Kensington lock on them.

Any Extra Way To Charge Your Reader
details
Many people do know this so I thought I would share, all Sony Readers are compatible with the Sony PlayStation Portable charger. It will fully recharge the reader from empty to full in about an hour, and works fantastic. If you don't have a PSP, but want a dedicated non USB charger, look for a third party PSP plug. They are inexpensive and work great!

Wireless data?
details
I have heard rumbling rumors of Verizon perhaps providing service for this device. Seems like if this e-book reader gets wireless downloading of content, it could really be great. Anyone hearing other rumors of this thing getting wireless connectivity?

Thankfully, Amex covered it. My husband had the PRS-505, and when I was in to get the PRS-700 replaced, the Sony store told me that the older model, unlike the 700, could be repaired, and... Battery life
details
This is a question I expect gdgt to be really useful for answering, rather than relying on the PR blurb for the product, crowd-source a real-world estimate of battery life. The question is, how long will the reader's battery hold out while listening to music (from SD card) and reading at the same time? I'm asking because I'm hoping to travel a little lighter next time I'm stuck on the train home for a couple of hours. If this is gonna replace the book in my luggage, why not my...
