The Net Yaroze was a software development kit released by Sony Computer Entertaiment which contained a matte black first-gen PlayStation which had no regional lockout. However there were different versions for different regions. The Japanese version and the American version boot in NTSC mode, while the Europe and Australia version boots in PAL. Many games created by Net Yaroze users were released on demo discs with the official PlayStation magazine.
