What we've seen so far is very promising, but whether or not the $100+ cost of entry will dissuade one too many customers remains to be seen. The traditional console cycle seems to have been eschewed by all players in favor of new methods of interactions. It's shaping up to be one of the most...

Issues with line-of-site and play distance aside, I can't help but declare PlayStation Move a resounding success as a piece of consumer technology and general way of interacting with games. Yes, it's the natural evolution of the Wii Remote, but it trumps Nintendo's creation in every respect, from...

The Move isn't a brand new platform for Sony, as Kinect is for Microsoft's Xbox 360; it's another option for developers to play with. By adding Move support to a game while having the ability to keep standard controls, publishers can support the Move hardware without having to bank on it. This also...

So forget casual gamers, Sony. They've already got their Wiis, and they don't want to spend $299 on a console that also plays Blu-rays. What do they care about Blu-rays? Focus on the hardcore. These are the people who stuck with your platform when Microsoft's Live system offered dramatically better...

The platform that Sony built here has incredible potential — now it’s up to game developers to make it worth while.

Move may superficially appear to be a derivative system using unremarkable technology that, at launch, lacks a killer app, but in action, it proves to be surprisingly compelling. Its ability to add an extra dimension to non-casual games means that it possesses more than mere novelty value, and...

How do you score something this early in its life cycle? We have to score it on potential. We recognise that PlayStation Move could be something great, but it's all about the games. Having played a few titles, we're left wanting more: the technology works, and that's the real point here.

We found that Move offered solid gaming thrills, and an easy setup, even if it isn't the most innovative product we've ever encountered. At the time of writing Move hasn't done enough to convince us it's a better investment than Nintendo's Wii console, but we reckon that in terms of hardware, it's...

At the end of the day, the PlayStation Move has the potential to be the best motion control system on the current crop of consoles; but unfortunately, the games offered at the moment just don't do the technology justice. If you're eager to buy into the system now, don't expect a whole lot of great...

As a piece of technology, we heartily recommend Move to PlayStation 3 owners. The motion gaming bandwagon is growing and growing, and isn't going to disappear any time soon. Move won't be for everyone, if only because of its steep price as an optional extra, but those that do invest will find an...

Out of the gate, Sony is pairing its powerhouse console with some of the most impressive motion-control technology the market has seen. It's got a decent lineup of software that ranges from casual-centric titles to impressive tech demos, along with some updates to already established games, so it...

I’m not saying that PS Move is a poor product. On the contrary, the actual hardware is of a better quality than the Wii Remote and Nunchuck setup. PS Move also has an advantage in its ability to track movement in a 3D space giving it the potential to extend motion gaming beyond what the Wii can...

Feels great, I just wish there were more mainstream games that either I could download or buy for this. I have Sports Champions and The Fight:Lights Out and both are good at what they're meant for. I tried Socom and Killzone and didn't like either, plus everyone I have talked to says they are...

I only purchased this because it was on sale. It is very accurate and light to hold. It looks like a glowing ice cream cone. There are not many games to play using this controller, and only a few are actually worth playing.
