The PS3 SIXAXIS controller looks just like the previous generation, but Sony has made a number of small improvements.

It's safe to say we'll see more innovative uses of the tilting sensitivity feature in future games--it definitely adds an extra level of control when flying the eponymous attack vehicle in Warhawk.

If it ain't broke, it probably doesn't need fixing, so Sony just kept its classic controller design. The motion-sensing aspects probably just need room to grow, or they simply may be cast aside as gimmick by developers. Only time will tell in that regard.

The technology does seem to work properly and is one clear advantage the PlayStation 3 has over the Xbox 360, which does not include anything like it.

At the end of the day, the Sixaxis is a great controller that stands firm as one of the best and most comfortable gamepads you'll ever find.
