Detailed review
I'd really like to truly love the PS3. I really would. But in typical Sony style, the system has been hampered by the system's firmware. With each release, it gets better and better, but it still does not support NetFlix streaming. It still does not support the number of video containers that it should as a multi-media player, and it still does not support very reliable voice-chat functionality. The games on the PS3 are very good, but it seems that many of the games are created firstly for the XBOX 360, and ported over to the PS3, so the graphics aren't as good as they could be.

Interface: The interface of the PS3 is very good. Very sophisticated and polished looking when compared to the blades of the Xbox360. That said, it's too bad that you can't easily nest folders, so if you load movies onto the hard drive, you have to scroll through all of them to find the one you want, rather than sorting them into folders by genre.

Online Game Play: For the price, very good. :)
XBOX has a better multi-player experience though, and the voice chat of the XBOX is worlds ahead of that for the PS3. If Sony can update the voice chat and bring forth games that really support >32 players, it would catch up pretty quickly to the XBOX online experience.
