Detailed review
Sony's Playstation 3 has many great features, but the one main one that stands out is the fact that it is equipped with the best Blu-Ray player that money can buy. The reason it is the best, is because Blu-Ray technology will continue to progress as time goes by. And the PS3 has the ability to download updates to follow along.

The gaming experience on the ps3 is clearly spectacular. The only system that can run games at a native 1080p resolution, and the only system that can run Ubuntu (linux OS) naively. The PS3 also has a great browser for those who like to enjoy video sites such as YouTube, Sidereel, and many more. It supports full flash so its great to watch streaming content on the TV screen.

There are also drawbacks for the gamer. Although it has online gaming for free, the community is not as large as Microsoft's Xbox Live! The online content Sony offers is not very appealing either. The user interface, although is user friendly, can get annoying after a while.

Overall, it's a great system to purchase, but if you are getting this just for gaming, I would look at the Xbox 360 as it is a better buy. If you are looking for a Blu-Ray player, then this is the best option you got.
