I bought my PS3 the year they came out in june, since then my original ps3 has had no problems, except for user related problems ^^ , i have since upgraded the harddrive to 250 gb, i can't get enough of the demos, this system has had my back for a long time, abd whith the model i have ps2 playback is fine haven't had any problems. i use it to watch movies, play games, have lan partys, and also listen to music, it has been great,do yourself a favor and pick one up.
