Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-HX30V adds Wi-Fi to the HX20V's impressive range of features, allowing you to instantly share images via any Android or iOS smartphone. Like the HX20V, the HX30V includes a 20x zoom lens, the ability to shoot stills and video simultaneously, and built-in GPS. Image quality is good, and video quality is among the best available on a compact point-and-shoot camera. While its price puts it at the high end of the compact ultra-zoom category, its versatility justifies the price difference. If you're looking for a good travel zoom for under $300, the Canon PowerShot SX260 HS is also worth considering.
