Bought in spite of CNET review
After narrowing my search to Samsung & Sony, I bought my 40V5100 from J&R and crossed my fingers. CNET posted a review that faulted the V series for having a bluish picture, but I have yet to notice it. If any, I can see more blue in the dark areas in broadcast tv signals, but viewing dvds over hdmi, the blacks look crisp and dark. One warning though, I only had the set eight hours before I decided to upgrade to the HD FiOS plan...
