the battery is pretty decent, it definitely last a whole day of moderate shooting. although, the battery recharge process is painstakingly slow. i recommend the 18-55mm over the 16mm, i know it protrude from the body but it's a must have for the zoom feature.

The sensor from what I understand is looking to be pretty darn good (I'll wait for a comprehensive testing before judging of course), and the phsyical size is getting closer to the sweet spot for a small removable lens system, but man I wish sony was capable of doing something WITH others.
