I bought a Sony SLT-A33 as my first DSLR a few months ago and couldn't be happier with it. I have no real photography skills, and I'm able to take photos and video that are leagues above my old point-and-shoot. The video recording has continuous auto-focus, and video quality looks amazing....

This camera is very good for the entry level in DSLR. I can shoot in almost every light condition. It is a fast camera, it is lightweight and pictures are sharp even with the kit lens. The only bad I can think of is the flash which is not really powerful and the flash sync (only 1/160)
