Passed FCC coming to Tmo?
details
http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/18/sony-ericsson-x... Well this is an odd one, Looks like the X10 hit the FCC with Tmobiles 3G bands, which means it will either be coming to Tmobile or be unlocked. Either way this is putting Tmobile in the top part of the market for High end phones with the Nexus One, X10, and possibly the HD2 still. I have already determined I am going to buy the Nexus One since this phone seems a lot behind the Nexus just because it has 1.5 and... Read more →

And it seems like they are aiming for a february release in the UK. http://www.se-store.co.uk/index.cfm?objectid=27157... Underwhelmed?
details
I feel like this device would have been very interesting had it come out prior to Oct 28, 2009. A device launching with Android 1.6 somewhere between two to five months after Android 2.0 is announced and available seems to be asking for trouble. I find the interface interesting, like the bigger 4" screen, and the 1Ghz processor... but it doesn't have video acceleration, meaning the interface is software generated (lowers battery life compared to an onboard video chip)... And, well, as... Read more →

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 vs HTC Hero Speed Forge 3D
details
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is out with a Speed Forge 3D demo showing how fast or... slow it is, according to some people. Same game running on HTC Hero. X10 looks smoother and kind of faster with the 1GHz CPU but i wouldn't complain with the Hero's performance running at 528MHz. You need to skip some yada yada in both vids. Interesting note in the Brochure, coming to Tmo
details
http://www.engadget.com/2009/11/02/sony-ericsson-x... Well as many of the comments point out in the brochure, under networks it lists the Tmobile 900/1700/2100 network. Since this is really the only network in the world that supports this it is probably safe to say this is coming to Tmobile. Besides that this may be my next phone, snapdragon, 8mp camera, upto 1gb internal memory and expandable, i think i am sold, plus the (i believe) 4" screen.

Xperia X3 or Galaxy
details
Anybody have any thoughts about which one to go for, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X3 or the Samsung Galaxy? I've had good luck and bad luck with both companies in the past, but I've never had a smart phone from either. For me, a lot will depend on how much I'm jonesing for a new phone when the first one lands in the U.S.
