They do fall out occasionally - tried each ear bud size & prefer the smallest even though they are a strange design, give them a twist in the ear & they will fit with a bit of wax ;oD!. Connection via bluetooth was simple with PC & phone [though I do have to pair each time when switching]. Great design you hardly know they are there, however.... the bass is not great - not much depth but it's acceptable it's bluetooth after all!. As for the difference between 'IS 800...

No volume control for iPhone, so uses "nominal" listening level. Very sensitive to obstruction, specifically if iPhone is in back pocket with my body mass between the phone and receiver (and no, I am not particularly large, how rude of you to even think that!) but when phone is in holster, shirt pocket, or front jeans pocket reception stays solid. All in all, awesome sound quality and very convenient.
Are the IS 800 and the IS 800Z the same product, if not what is the difference? Also, it seems to have a very short range for a bluetooth device, if the phone is in my pant pocket it loses it
Apparently you cannot pair the HBH-is800 with more than on device. It's a pain since I would like to use it with my iPhone and my MacBook Pro. For now I have to repair the thing every time I want to switch. It's annoying at worst. Hopefully multiple device pairing is something Sony Ericsson will implement in the next release.
I tried to buy a pair of these headphones and they never shipped. I called the company and they said it was on Sony's end and that the Sony warehouse was not shipping these out. Does this indicate a product refresh soon or does Sony just suck.
I need to get some new headphones. I really love the idea of Bluetooth ones, but I don't know whether they will pair properly, and the battery life might be an issue. I would also like to get some regular earbuds, but only if they have a microphone on them so I can use apps like shazam. So my question is: are Bluetooth headphones worth it, and what earbuds have good sound quality and a mic? And are they cheapish? (~$60)
