Conclusion: We like it

These $100 headphones provide great, bass-enhanced sound at an affordable price, a comfortable fit, and a unique, striking design that includes removable headbands available in eight colors. And, of course, there's an inline mic and iOS remote. They're also favored by Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, who has been sporting them throughout the London Olympics, without any kind of sponsorship deal. (Note: they're not waterproof. Phelps does not wear them in the pool!)

For the price, this is a very good pair of headphones. Audiophiles will probably look elsewhere, but...It's for the person who hates the tinny sound of their white iPod earbuds, but can't quite justify dropping $200 and would find the difference in quality to be insignificant anyways.

The affordable SOL Republic Tracks out-competes plenty of more expensive headphones that specialize in bass performance, but it's not a comfortable headphone pair.

The $100 Tracks provide a unique set of headphones for the traveling user, and in general offers a pretty cool looking, functional set of headphones...The SOL Republic headphone are clearly the new kids in town, but so far they are making a good impression.

Other notes: > These currently retail for $99. A great price if you ask me. > The cable is kind of cumbersome and prone to tangling, and up to the microphone piece, is quite thick. When rubbed against clothing it can produce some muffles, but not nearly as much as some other headphones...

These are amazing headphones, and for the money, a total steal. They produce a fun sound that while warm and bass rich, still covers the highs and mids very well. Their weakness may be with less electronic sounds and TV doesn't shine through them but for excitable music they're an absolute blast...

I did a far amount of research on "high-end" sets of over-the-ear headphones...based on numerous reviews and after demoing a pair I was convinced the Tracks HD were the ones for me - fantastic sound, sleek design, solid construction, and extremely competitive price point. At first I was a bit...
