The Slingbox Tuner offered the perfect device for someone with basic cable TV with no cable box required. It would accept a coaxial cable connection and allow pass-thru so you basically had a networked TV tuner and your TV with no interruption! The Tuner is good to be able to view your basic cable programming on your PC/Laptop anwhere on your local network or at an internet access point.
