Here's the Fix: I had my E3Cs for a year or two when one side began to go softer and soon went almost silent. I'm wondering if it's worth picking up these: http://www.amazon.com/Shure-EA306-Triple-Flange-Sl... I use the small black rubber ones and they're relatively fine, but I wouldn't mind having something better.
