The HD 555s are one of my favorite set of cans. They manage to deliver a warm, rich sound while maintaining a comfortable price point. I've found that they lack strong lows and mids tend to wash out a bit, but overall, they should be fine for most people looking for a good headphone for home...

These are some of the best sounding headphones I've ever used, they can easily be gotten for less than $100 and they're extremely comfortable for very long periods of time. One thing to keep in mind is that they are open ear, so there is very little sound damping.
