Detailed review
I think these ear phones are the best compromise between price, sound, and functionality. I have owned many earphones ranging from the stock earphones to Shure SCL3. I have sold or tossed out all models except the Sennheiser CX 300 earphones.

Here is what I like:

1. You can find these earphones for $16.00 and they sound as good as $100+ earphones.

2. These earphones have rich bass and fairly good high frequency performance. They sound great for all music and podcasts.

3. The cord is perfect. It is just the right length to use while running, working out at the gym, or lounging around listening to music. It is also coated in a rubber that prevents tangles.

4. The ear sleeves that come with the earphones allow a very good fit in the ear and provide good sound isolation without penetrating deep into the ear canal. This is something that was very important to me. I wanted good sound isolation without the feeling that the earphones were touching my brain.

Here is what I don’t like:

1. The ear sleeves fit tight, but because of their shape they sometimes decouple and you lose some bass response. (This is a small price to pay to avoid the brain surgery of the deep canal type earphones) This is easily fixed by securing the earphones back in your ear.

Listening through these earphones makes me wonder why I ever spent 100s of dollars on more expensive models. While they obviously do not sound as good as $300 earphones they are certainly close enough in the sound quality that I will always purchase these considering all of the other fun things I can buy with the money I save.
