  • Battery life Considering how many batteries this thing needed, it should have lasted at least two years. awful!

Detailed review
I was a part of the crowd that thought the Game Gear was the best hand held because it had a back-lit, color screen. And to be fair, I loved my Game Gear. I loved the games I had, I love playing it... in retrospect, however, if I had a Game Boy at the time, my perspective would have been different. It wasn't a bad system, it was just lacking the selection and quality of games as it's competitors. I always wished that Sega's consoles had gotten more traction; they were my favorite.
