Talk of the next generation of home consoles is starting to appear on nearly every video game website. It got me thinking about what the price will be per game. With every generation, the prices of games have increased by $10. Now I don't know about everyone out there, but $59.99 is my limit and the game has to amazing for me to even consider purchasing it at that price. I do most of my shopping on Amazon.com and I wait for their video game sales. Yet I can't say that I feel confident that games...
I just dusted off my dreamcast and found Bleem for gran turismo 2. Its crazy to have a mass produced emulator that i probably bought at toys r us or someplace back in the day. I don't think we'll ever see that again! I love my dreamcast all over again! i hooked it up with a vga cable to my hdtv and it still looks great after all these years. even better than my ps2!
I found someone that was selling a broken one on craigslist, bought it for 5 bucks and pulled the gdrom drive out. After about an hour of swearing and praying I had it working. My favorite games for the DC are Mr. Driller, Grandia, Ikaruga, Mars Matrix, Skies of Arcadia and Legacy of Kain.
I bought it right when it was launched for around 300 dollars I think (as a kid I had to learn the value of money, lol)...so the least I should be able to do is add it to my Had list. Though looked upon a bad light because it was the start of Sega's all over the place console attachment devices, some games on the platform were classic: video motion games like Night Trap, Supreme Warrior, Kris Kross (LOL), as well as cult titles such as SNATCHER and Lunar: The Silver Star. I even played...

...and raise you the Activator. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ql-UZv3AS-E You just have to recalibrate every time you turn on your Genesis! It's that simple!
Albeit it's 10th birthday was yesterday, let's chime in on why we all bought the console. For me, it was NFL2K. My brother and I really liked playing Madden on the Playstation and also Blitz on the N64. When I got the Dreamcast, it was bundled with NFL2K and Sonic Adventure (Costco bundle). We popped in NFL2K and was BLOWN AWAY on how great the graphics were on it, especially when they zoom in on the players walking back to the line after a play. We both logged at least 10 hours of...

With all that's happening today (Apple Music Event, Beatles releases, New Leica M9 and X1 Camera releases); let's not forget that it was 10 years ago today, that one of the most endearing Game Consoles was released in the U.S. (released in Japan; November 27, 1998). Let's crack open a beer and take a nice hardy gulp for the Dreamcast. Cheers!!
Oh Sega, we hardly knew ye. It sees like just yesterday that you were full of promise, splitting the blockbuster with SNES. Then you gave me a Sega CD, and took it away. I never forgave you, really. http://feeds.gawker.com/~r/gizmodo/full/~3/dWLWUrH...
Did anybody on here use the SegaScope 3-D glasses? The only games you could use them with were Blade Eagle 3-D, Line of Fire, Maze Hunter 3-D, Missile Defense 3-D, Out Run 3-D, Poseidon Wars 3-D, Space Harrier 3-D, Zaxxon 3-D. I have always wanted to get these games and the SegaScope off of eBay and give it a go, but is it even worth it? How good is the 3-D effect?
Now that I am trying to collect every video game console ever made, Sega is posing the hardest challenge. No one put out as many pieces of hardware as them... Back when I was a kid, I thought this was the coolest product ever. It was one of the first all-in-one products I had ever seen. I was like "it can play Genesis and Sega CD games and all my music CD's!???" Now that I am trying to collect every video game console ever made, Sega is posing the hardest challenge. No one put out as many pieces of hardware as them... Here's the short list: Sega SG-1000 Sega SG-1000 II Sega Mark III Sega SC-3000 Sega SC-3000H Sega Master System Sega...

The name "Dreamcast", conjures up an image of some magical box that when turned on, totally transports the player into another world. It's nice that Sega deviated from a tough sounding name consisting of numbers and/or incorporating X-Gen letters such as Qs and Xs.
So i have this master system ive been saving ( along with my 3rd generation Nintendo Entertainment system ) and i just recently took them out of their boxes and set them up with my xbox and playstation 2. its so cool having them setup alongside the modern game consoles.... maybe ill upload a pic of the game center ive got going here :P Nevertheless, I have several d-pad controllers, the Light Phaser, and even a sega control stick!! However, 2 of my d-pads are malfunctioning ( the first has a...

I often browse craiglist and see dreamcast units for very low cost... Standard would be something like dreamcast, 2 controllers, memory + 20 games for $75 (canadian). However, I've read that there is now a pretty decent PC emulator called nullDC. My main concern would be getting things like gamepads working in the emulator. Anyone have experience with this? I have fond memories of the DC from 9 years ago or so, not sure it stands the test of time but I'd like to try it again. Thanks for...
This is one of those super-obscure items that becomes a collector's item only after the toy stores dump their inventory for fire-sale prices. I bought mine around 1997, at Toys 'R Us, for $29.95. I think I might have even gotten a free game with it.
Does anyone remember Impossible Mission by US GOLD? http://consolpassion.org/Boites%20Sega/mastersyste... What were you meant to do on it? I spent HOURS playing that game, going up and down the lifts, but could never figured it out! I remember getting bits of jigsaw puzzles that you put together or something, and some room that had a giant keyboard in, but none of it made any sense :-P
every time I set the date it keeps going back to orginal date, seem like battle just runs by itself..world time only for London? can i reset a new password??
