This drive has been a solid performer for me other that a faulty power brick which was replaced. I must add that Seagate's customer service web site was quick in sending me a replacement power brick.

Overall this was a great buy. Its design, size, and price were just what they should be. I would recommend this to anyone that asked.

I bought this 2 terabyte External Hard drive as a replacement for a small paltry 500 gig Seagate External Hard Drive, it works just as perfectly as the older model

1.5 TB drive, which will stand vertically or horizontally. Had to return the first one I bought when it stopped working after 2 days. Since then been pretty satisfied with it. Went with the USB 2.0 only because even though I mostly use it w/ my MacBook Pro I sometimes use it on a windows...
