i was able to transfer my data to another hd then i formatted this one and transferred the data back but then it started giving this error and all my data is in the hd. is it lost? or there is any way to recover my data?
I was wwondering how to stream the video content of my external hard drive to my Logitech Revue. Directly plugging it into the Revue isn't an option as I have many other types of content on the drive that my PC needs access to.
Sometime soon, I am planning to purchase a MacBook Air and Mac Mini. I also have a 1TB Seagate FreeAgent Desk USB external hard drive. In theory, I would like to connect the hard drive to my wireless router and make it accessible to both the Air and Mini via wireless LAN. Then I'd like to point Time Machine for both the Air and Mini at the same hard drive. especially since i would like to access our photos, videos, music, and movies on both my wife's desktop and my laptop and will likely be replacing the media PC that was connected to my plasma until it died recently.
