The Sansa View's "fast" forward is so slow that it effectively doesn't have one. And given how long it's been since the last firmware update I'd guess that SanDisk has no intentions of fixing the problem. (Even if they were willing to admit that there is a problem to be fixed.) This is too bad as otherwise the View is a nice player, especially when purchased as a refurb.
