Given the features offered for the price, we really wanted to like the Sansa Fuze+. Unfortunately, the interface is something of a deal-breaker for us -- there's just too many other more elegant and usable options out there (iPod or otherwise) for us to see us using it on a day-to-day basis.

...video playback, AAC compatibility, FM radio, photos, podcasts, Rhapsody support, voice recording, and Mac compatibility make it an easy iPod alternative ...You can find smaller or cheaper MP3 players, but you won't find a better value than the Sansa Fuze+ in terms of dollars per features.
Read the full review →If you live outside the iTunes ecosystem, the Sansa Fuze+ offers better features than either the Apple iPod nano or the iPod shuffle and is priced to compete with both players.
Read the full review →If you can live with the ropey interface, the Sansa Fuze+ proves a capable, reasonably priced media player. However, there are plenty of other players out there that offer a better user experience for similar, or less, money.
Read the full review →With even more support for audio and video formats than before, and an iPod nano-beating video screen, the Sansa Fuze+ represents great value for money. Read the full review →As it is, you have a very average player. I’d actually recommend a Sansa Clip+ over the Fuze+ unless video is an absolute necessity, as it’s certainly a less annoying experience as far as controls go. You can get the Fuze+ for less than $50 though (4GB), so I can’t be too hard on it.
Read the full review →I bought a refurb unit of the Fuze+. I added an 8 Gb micro sd memory and so it does start in a pokey way. The interface reminds me of the Xross Media Bar of the PS3 with out the cross to navigate. Sorry that doesn't explain it well. Most of the time I can navigate through my library of mp3 and wma.
