This is the second generation of the Sandisk Cruzer - I also have the first generation as well. Aside from the obvious exterior hardware changes, internally its basically the same. I've purchased the 2nd-gen Cruzer to replace my lost 1st-gen Cruzer. It as the same great form factor design with the slideout USB plug so there's no need to worry about losing your cap.
