Conclusion: Pass on it

Adding WiFi to a compact camera with a long zoom lens seems like such an obvious idea that we don't know why more cameras don't already include the feature. Unfortunately, the ability to share photos by WiFi is about the only thing that makes the Samsung WB150F worth considering. Its image quality is about average, it can't capture full HD videos, and it doesn't do very well at shooting in low-light situations. If you need to share your photos instantly, and want a camera that works better than the one in your phone, consider an EyeFi SD card, which will work with many current cameras — or wait for a camera manufacturer to add WiFi to a more worthy camera.

The 18X-optical-zoom, Wi-Fi-enabled Samsung WB150F has a nice mix of creative modes for casual shooters, but its manual controls require a bit too much menu-diving.

When viewed purely as a higher-end compact, the Samsung WB150F is slightly above average: its photos and videos are decent and its big zoom is handy. ... as it stands the WB150F is an intriguing, flawed enigma rather than a game-changer.
