With a smart design, fast boot-up and long battery life, the Series 9 is among the best Ultrabooks you can buy right now.

Samsung's Series 9 laptops may be more expensive than competing models, but they offers a lot for the price, including fast performance and one of the best displays available on a laptop that isn't the MacBook Pro with Retina display. It's one of the thinnest 13-inch laptops on the market, weights just 2.6 pounds, and includes premium features like a backlit keyboard, sleek metal case, and fast solid-state drive. Its biggest downsides are its relatively disappointing battery life — and its price.

If you want a Windows laptop to impress the boardroom and you have enough money to buy Greece, then the new Series 9 is worth checking out, but it doesn't quite live up to its high price.

Read the full review →Although it’s the most desirable Ultrabook we’ve yet seen, we can’t help feeling tempted to opt for a MacBook Air, a copy of Windows 7 and a handful of change. It’s good, but not quite good enough.
Read the full review →This updated Series 9 feels like the version we should have got last year – it has vastly superior build quality, an improved screen and a more sensible chassis layout that makes it feel every inch the premium product it should be.
Read the full review →A notable, nay huge, overall improvement over last year's NP900X3A, the X3B represents the state of the art for Ultrabook-class devices, with the Air as a better choice only if you need Thunderbolt for high speed storage or driving large displays (assuming you're unable to buy a decent desktop to...
Read the full review →I love the design and look of this Ultrabook. I had the first gen version of this laptop (the black one) and loved it as well but this model steps it up with beautiful design, less sharp corners, and better port accessibility. I find the battery to go 4-5 hours under my usage scenarios, which is...
Read the full review →Extremely pleased with the Samsung Series 9. Samsung did not fill the hard drive with useless apps other than Norton. Only a few things to complain about: Speakers - I'm not impressed w/the sound quality. However, given the slim profile of the Series 9 I knew this would be a compromise. The...
