I have recently begun to have issues receiving texts on my omnia. The phone seems to just stop receiving texts without any notice for a day or two. Then, when I reset the phone, I'll get dozens of texts all at once. I'm on ATT network and this problem comes up with people sending me texts from the same carrier and different carriers, but I can send myself texts immediately with no delay. Any ideas?

Verizon official non-warranty-killing ROM update is here. Supposedly unlocks the GPS but people have reported connectivity problems. I'm afraid to because I've heard about problems with phones bricking at the final stage of the re-flash.

I got an Omnia a few weeks ago, and it is hands-down the sweetest gadget I've owned. The problem is I can't make a freaking phone call on it. I switched from Sprint to Verizon because I got poor reception at home and at work, and I wanted that crowd of morons standing behind me making sure my signal was good. Has anyone heard when a new ROM with Windows Mobile 6.5 and an unlocked GPS will be available for the Samsung Omnia i910 from Verizon?
