This isn't a perfect device -- and in fact a lot of what's exciting about this phone is what's happening behind the scenes. It's as if the stage is set for the arrival of Honeycomb along with a slew of features. Still, when it comes to state of the art for Android right now, the buck stops here.

The Nexus S is a nice phone but nothing revolutionary. That's kind of the point. It's designed to be state-of-the-Android and to show the operating system in its best light. If you want a pure, unlocked, up-to-date open-source phone, this is your baby. Happy hacking. quote

The bottom line is this. If you are an iPhone user this isn’t going to make you switch. If you’re an Android user you will want this phone more than any other. If you’re currently neither, we recommend that you go with the Nexus S.

Read the full review →I got the Nexus S about a month ago and I must say that this is definitely a very nice upgrade from the Nexus One. For me, the upgrade means that I get a much faster Hummingbird processor and a much better touchscreen compared to the one on the Nexus One. The phone is snappy and rarely slows...
Read the full review →I bought the Nexus S off ebay several months back after tiring of my Captivate. I have to say that it was a major upgrade in terms of quality and functionality. Like any good tinkerer, I have rooted the phone and installed the cyanogenMod Alpha 13 ROM. So far so good. I found I am able to use...

Read the full review →Just had my Nexus S 4G delivered today, and I am in Love! I love the feel of it in my hand. Others may want to call it "cheap", but I prefer and love the lightness to it. I'm used to this after coming from and Epic 4G, but the weight combined with it's sleek, slender body is just AWESOME in the...
Read the full review →The Nexus S 4G is only a slight improvement over the Nexus One but is by far one of the best Android devices I've experienced. The Pure Google Experience guarantees that none of the carrier or manufacturer bloat is on this phone. Applications launch extremely fast, the 4G speeds are a major...
Read the full review →I went from owning a an HTC Aria to the Nexus S. The thing I really like about the phone is its ease of use and how physically light the phone is. One thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a means of letting me know when I have a messages, other than sound, there is no light. Sound quality...
Read the full review →Seems I was unlucky, getting three Nexus S with every one having inacceptable issues. Dead pixels, lose frame (the one that covers the display), etc.
Read the full review →Overall, the phone is quite nice, it can run every app available to Android phones. However, the battery life is so bad that I usually avoid using apps when I know I won't be anywhere near a wall outlet, only using the phone for phone calls, defeating the purpose of having a smart phone. The...
